Less than five years after his release from prison, Brian Marchant-Calsyn founded an internet based presence named MyInjuryClaim~dot-com:
In 2000 the website landed in the Wall Street Journal when an attorney consulting Marchant-Calsyn on the Internet project accused him of "illegal and unethical" trade practices for overstating the site's abilities and attempting to franchise the business for $25,000 despite the company's unproven track record.
Little changed in the future for Brian Marchant-Calsyn and his penchant for overstating the deliverables and expectations people should have in anything he sold.
The Internet Recruiting Group followed the shutdown of this venture. Apparently Brian Marchant-Calsyn was well on his way to understanding franchise law and how you can circumvent the legality and responsibility by using the term “BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY” when you are in fact making every attempt to make it sound like a franchise.
